which is what my AS son was chewing on and ruining all his shirt collars and cuffs. When he chews on this he seems more aware. He was resistant to it at first but I explained it's like a teether and he seems to accept that.

MY GRANDSON WHO IS RARELY WITHOUT A GREEN KNOBBY CHEWY OR A RED 'T' CHEWY JUST DIDN'T CARE FOR THIS ONE. I REMOVED THE METAL CLIP SO HE WOULDN'T PUT THAT END IN HIS MOUTH. I WON'T BE PURCHASING AGAIN FOR HIM, BUT THANKS FOR TRYING SOMETHING NEW.

My 6 year old son who has autism has an oral fixation and everything goes in his mouth. These chewys are awesome! We clip it to his shirt so it doesn't get lost or dirty. I highly recommend!

For the money, I thought this chewy would provide the oral proprioception my son was craving. The bumpy texture seemed like a great fit for his sensory needs. He did not like chewing on it, however, at all! The length made it difficult to attach to his shirt and still reach his mouth, and it seemed that it would easily rip through. He enjoyed mouthing the hook instead and ended up breaking it off of the noodle.
