Doc McStuffins is one of the most popular shows on Disney Junior. Doc appeals to both young boys and girls as she mends her toy friends and dispenses helpful advice. While my four year old daughter prefers, "Sofia the First" and "Backyardigans" Doc McStuffins is on her heavy rotation of shows that she watches.
The Doc McStuffins Write and Learn combines the look of Doc's Doctor bag with an educational imitation laptop. While their are more advanced learning tools on the market the Wirte and Learn Doctor's Bag combines Doc McStuffins with some fun but basic lessons.
Notes-
Has multiple modes and games shapes, numbers, and other games.
Has a small touchscreen that can be used with the attached thick imitation pencil. The touch pad is responsive and works well.
Most of the games involves tracing shapes, number, and letters using a connected dots type of method.
The touchscreen is not backlit which makes it difficult to use in low light settings
Batteries are included
Parents may want to learn a little bit how the Write and Learn works prior to letting your child using it it is not difficult but it may save a bit of frustration.
Final Verdict The Write and Learn Doctor's Bag combines the look of Doc's doctor bag with the imitation laptop that children. It also has the seal of approval from my teacher wife for it's educational value.
