I bought this originally on tape for my now adult daughter who recently became a mother herself. She loved to listen to this tape and sang the songs at preschool age. The songs became familiar to all my family members. I have nine children who are all adults now except for the youngest. After several moves, the tape was lost but the songs remained in our memories. I began singing the alphabet song to my grandchildren who also began singing it back to me as toddlers. I was getting rusty on the words so I purchased the new DVD version for my latest grandchildren who were born last Christmasj(2012). I was so happy to find it after all these years. All of us are singing the songs again. . . grandparents, parents, and babies! It's unanimously popular and brings us hours of pleasure and learning. My youngest son, now 16, has learned to play the alphabet song on the guitar and serenades his infant and toddler nieces and nephews. We love "The Muffin Man" and the "I Love You So Much" songs also. This is a great gift for new parents, a baby shower, or for your granchildren to sing along with you in the car. It's a very enduring favorite with soothing, pleasant melody and voice. Sweet lyrics.

My mother had this as a cassette tape when I was a child, and from it I learned the months of the year and counting by ten, and all kinds of other wonderful facts. The CD is not quite as clear as the cassette was and sometimes the very beginning of a song is extremely quiet, but the important words are all clearly audible.
My son was 1.5 when we started playing it in the car. Now, at 2.5, he knows most of the words to most of the songs. This is a great collection of learning songs!
