The handle on the drum i received is better than the one pictured (wood instead of plastic) BUT the "mallet" i received is a one-piece, yellow plastic piece of garbage with a tiny little egg shaped head. It has almost no weight to it at all. Seriously the worst/cheapest option they could've sent with the drum. The one pictured is what I expected to receive: a round-headed "real" mallet. In fact, that's why I chose this drum over the other similar options: It appeared to come with a nice mallet!

(I had to purchase mallets separately for twelve dollars to make this drum useable.)

The drum itself is ok. Decent sound. I don't expect the thin plastic head to last very long. Not a bad tone though. Next time I will spend a little more to get a better head.

Very sturdy, good sound, easy for the toddlers to use. For the family band use for the kids, it was a good buy.

My one year old loves this drum and picks it up with one hand while hitting the drum with her other hand. It's light and makes a nice sound. Only thing is the photo shows that it comes with a drum stick. Mine did not.

I got this for our toddler for Christmas, because he loves music and drums on everything. This is a great little drum. It is well-constructed and makes a quality drum sound. Our whole family picks it up from time to time. Good price for a quality "toy."
