We bought this for the fort in our yard. It's great! The kids can see over the walls without having to stick their heads up. It's fun in the house too. Walk around looking through it and you get a whole new perspective on things!

This periscope is a great large size and is lots of fun for kids and there is no better way to play submarine! We have the green version and I love that there is also a pink version available. We have had such a fun time with magnifying glasses and kaleidoscopes so it was a natural progression to get a periscope. It is great fun seeing a child react to this way of viewing the world and how those underwater (or a cardboard box spaceship....) can see up to the surface!
