The description pretty much covers the contents:
*3 Vole Pellets
*2 Mole Pellets
*3 Starling Pellets
*8 Dissection Trays
*8 Magnifying Glasses
*8 Bone Sorting Charts
*8 Student Handouts
*1 Teacher Guide
The teacher guide is pretty light. This is not a stand alone project for a classroom but it is a fun supplement to the study of owls/raptors. The magnifying glasses are just little toy ones too small to be very useful for the project. But the pellets are pretty neat. We haven't dissected them yet, but I took a look at one. It's fake feathers/fur with a plastic skeleton inside the pellet. It's obviously a synthetic product (real pellets are far drier and dustier in my experience). I bought this for my kids at home, so I can see reusing the plastic skeletons by making another pellet to hide them in, going a long way to making this more cost effective for me. It sells on the manufacturer's website for $50. I didn't purchase mine from Amazon; I found it on clearance in a brick and mortar store for $10. For that price, I'm very happy. $50 is highly overpriced. $30 here at Amazon makes that decision up to each individual.
Happy hunting!
