This is a beautiful stacking toy. The clown is very colorful and appealing for children to complete. My only arguement is that it's very difficult and should be suggested to buy for ages 4-up. I had a difficult time putting it together the first time I tried it! Can be frustrating to a little child.

This clown is really cute. Purchased for my 3 year old for Christmas. I love that it is all wood and is more challenging than the stacking rings. Whoever designed it did a great job. It was expensive but I think this will last for a long time, unlike the throwaway plastic toys from China. I wish all toys were this nice and without flashing lights and sounds. Very satisfied!

This new version of stacking jack is disappointing. The first block is glued in place...not good design for kids who could do the stacking themselves. So sad to find many bad change on a really good stacking toy that helped children process a building pattern while stacking a delightful little guy not just a clown. The unscrewing of Jack's little yellow top hat and then putting it back together was the crowning glory of the toy and now only two useless pompoms. I would hope some toy designer would look back at the Plan Toys SKU:PL5325 Style Num: 39532500. Status: Retired and bring the original Stacking Jack out of retirement

That's a very nice stacking toy, I bought it as one of my training toys for working with my challenging 4 year old boy. I would recommend this toy to every toddler as it helps in child development/thinking/manual activities.

This was given from a friend whose child had used it. I gave it to my nine month old, who enjoyed it until she pulled the hair out and started choking on it. Very nice toy, but I should have been more careful. I never saw the original box (which probably had the warning), but the yarn hair should have tipped my off to the potential problem.
