This item fits the board and the ethernet shield. No additional space for batteries, but it looks really awesome. I've ordered the another box Arduino Project Enclosure before, and though it has a battery window, in fact you can't put the battery into the box from that window. Also there is no option to mount it on a wall or any other surface. That's why I've decided to choose the ZiGo one. I've got the brown one and I'm really happy with it. It was easy to assemble, the board secured very well in the box and the led lights from it look very cool because of translucent enclosure material.

Easy to put together.I put the LOL shield in it and now i have a light show in a nice blue box.You can put other shields in it.
