I love these bamboo cars from Hape. I got my son a couple of these for Christmas, with the idea that I wanted to get him something of quality that will last for generations, unlike all the cheap plastic junk you see these days. They are very durable and well made. It rolls along very nicely, and I love that it doesn't make annoying noises or need batteries constantly replaced. I'd much rather see my child using his imagination and his own "power" to make toys move! Whenever guests come over they notice these cars and ask about them, and think it's so cool they are made from bamboo! I'm definitely planning on getting more of these for birthdays and Christmases to come!

This is a very high quality toy. In this day and age where kids destroy the fragile toys available in stores, this toy beats them all. It is extremely durable (has lasted through three young kids). They roll very smooth and feel very soft and good in your hands. I bought the set and am glad I did. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun set of cars for their young ones.

My husband got this for my son on a whim for his 18th month "birthday." It is a beautiful car (heirloom quality) and my son seems to like it. It is light but seems durable. The only downside is that the car sometimes swerves to the side if you don't push it just right.
