My son got this toy for Christmas almost 2 months ago. This is the only toy that he has consistently played with for hours and hours. He LOVES this toy and he even adores the little suitcase that opens into a book (and comes with the car). I give it to him at diaper change time so he doesn't squirm too much. TWO BIG THUMBS UP!!

My 2 year old got this for Christmas 2009. He still loves to play with it and it is now September 2010. He like the riddle mode now and trying to find the right item. My 11 month old has now found it and loves to play with it too. They both love the little song it sings and that it does actually roll. I love that it has a time out function so it isn't a battery eating toy. My boys have dropped this car and sat on it and it is still in excellent condition. Made with very durable plastic.

My son loves cars and trucks and toys that have buttons and make sounds, so we bought this as a Christmas present. While he plays with it from time to time, he isn't as thrilled about this toy as I thought he'd be. I thought it'll be his favorite with all that cool buttons to press and that cute smiley face on the car. But then, he's not even two years old, so I have not given up! We're holding on to this toy for a little while...especially that we paid a lot for it!

Despite my son's lack of enthusiasm towards this toy, I give it four stars because it is durable, educational, and cool-looking. The down side is the price. There are other toys that cost just as much or even less that functions just the same.

I think this is way too expensive. We purchased this for our son's Christmas gift. He played with it for about two days then lost interest. It's bulk and takes up so much space in his toy chest. I don't like the fact that the English/Spanish button can be easily pressed by your toddler. Save your money and purchase something else.

We purchased the Chicco Talking Vacation Car for our son when he was about 8 months old. He is now 18 months old and still enjoys playing with it. This toy has taken a beating from our son and it looks like new. The only part that shows any wear is the little suitcase that opens like a book, and that even looks pretty good considering it's 10 months old.
