I've had my Taffy Sea Turtle Net for several months now. I wasn't looking for a toy, which is why I didn't rate that aspect highly. I was looking for a good, strong net in which to catch the toads that occasionally find their way into my walled-in backyard. My concern is that one of my dogs might bite onto a Bufo Toad, and get poisoned. With this handy net, I can scoop up even a very large toad and deposit it in a nearby wooded area. I've had no problems with rips in the material, and it looks like a solidly built net and pole that should last me a long time. I certainly recommend it for toad catching!

BOUGHT FOR MY SON FOR CHRISTMAS HE IS 3Y OLD NOW AND HAS BEEN WANTING A NET FOR QUITE A WHILE AND THIS NET IS PERFECT AND EXACTLY WHAT WE WERE LOOKING FOR. SEEMS PRETTY STURDY TO FOR THE AMOUNT OF USE THAT IT GETS!

There's a stream that runs through our property, and our daughter has been using this net for the past couple of months catching fish, frogs and salamanders (those she can't catch with her bare hands). She's very satisfied with the net, and so am I. It's strong, and I don't have to tell her to go easy on it. It will last at least two summers, if not more.

Our little guy is too young to use it to catch butterflies yet but we have been floating things for him to pick up with it in his pool. He's still so young, it's mainly used to get things out from under couches and to whack people! I think it will be used more at the lake and such as he gets a little older!
