I have two sons who are very interested in knights and castles, as well as the associated weaponry. They wanted to get their father a catapult for his birthday. It is a catapult, it fires small objects across the room. Things like mini marhmallows, dog food, and marbles work well. The trigger slips and does not hold down the arm, but could probably easily be fixed. If your thinking the price seems kinda high, well it is, but you already know that. It is sturdy and looks good.
