The toy itself doesn't stay together very well. Might be a singular defect. Bird must be disassembled to fit into egg, which does not latch in any way and comes apart constantly. Fun idea, and I love WordWorld, so it's worth it.

My 2.5 year old loves this. He's entertained for at least 10 minutes just taking it out of the egg, building it, and then playing with it. I kept the throw away little brown X and told him it was food and now he enjoys pretend feeding it as well. Great purchase. Also great for wording with outs like open, in, out, and counting, as they are in pieces and must be built.

My 2 yr old loves this but the egg doesn't actually stick together, thats the only thing i don't like about it. Otherwise it's fun product and my son doesnt mind that the egg doesn't stick together. He loves anything Word World!
