I purchased this piano for my 9 month daughter. She's now 10 months old and loves to crawl over to the piano and play it. She actually hits individual keys...and of course bangs on many at once as well. Surprisingly, the "music" is not irritating as one might expect. The piano has a nice sound, like a xylophone. She's also using it to help her stand...This piano is intended for older toddlers, so be very cautious and attentive if you have an infant. I have the piano against a wall so that she can't push it over. All in all, I love it and so does my daughter. :-D
