I wasn't sure how this product would be, as it's always tough for me to purchase things over the internet. However, I am pleasantly surprised with this learning mat. My toddler is currently enrolled in daycare and preschool, however within the next few months I anticipate staying home with her so I wanted to continue with some of the structure she is currently used to. I looked around at several circle time mats, and could not find anything under $100. With the low price of this product, I was a little unsure of what to expect, espeically since the description does not list the material this is made out of. The learning mat is made out of a strong, thick plastic material. I like that because it will be easy to clean and keep sanitized. It folds up easily for storage, or you can leave it out for all day use. It comes with a few cute games for toddlers to play. The colors are vibrant, and I do like how the mat has numbers, shapes, and colors. My only suggestion for the manufacturer would be to add letters as well. My daughter sat on the mat and said "Where is the Z?" (her name is Zoe, so she is always looking for the letter Z). With only 10 spaces on the mat, I am sure it would be difficult to add 26 letters to it, though. The backside of this mat is just a plain yellow color, so perhaps the manufacturer could add the alphabet to the back of the mat? This mat will definitely hold up for home use, even with a few kids. I find the size and durability to be great for home use. If you have a home daycare or preschool and have numerous kids needing to play circle time, I would recommend investing in a circle rug, which would hold up better for that use. However, for home use with 5 kids or less I think this product is perfect!
