My boys love this silly tv show, so we hoped they would like this game. The v reader game does a great job of incorporating fun activities with learning. The humor is a relief for kids and adults alike, it is funny and the boys repeat phrases from the game. It's easy for them to play independently, only occasionally do they need assistance. Teaches them letters and spatial organization with shapes.

This is helpful in sharpening my boys reading skills, which is so critical for kindergarten and 1st grade. Not as action packed as the Mobigo but I think the kids learn more with this VTech reader.

My daughter has had a Vtech V.Reader since December 2010, and she continues to use it almost every day. We bought her the Penguins of Madagascar cartridge to add to her ever-growing cartridge library, and she loves it! We do not watch the Madagascar cartoons on television, but we have seen the movies, so I liked that my daughter already knew who the characters were. This cartridge continues with Vtech's history of providing educational games/toys for children!

Nice software for v reader. Has a rather advanced vocabulary selection for 4-6 age range (not a complaint my daughter loves it, but it might be tough on some).
