I have been using the two volume set since 1999. It has proven very educational as a tool for manual therapy. I have been practicing massage therapy since 1998, and this reference has been the source of many insights needed to help my clients come out of their pain/dysfunction. Although it was originally written to support physicians/PTs in the area of pain management and myofascial dysfunction (hence all of the treatments involve injections and spray & stretch techniques) a massage or physical therapist can readily substitute with manual pressure to achieve the same results.
If you are a serious manual therapist, this book should be in your reference library.Travell & Simons' Myofascial Pain and DysfunctionThe Trigger Point Manual has been so helpful to me in and out of school. Easy to read and follow. I like how each muscle is discussed in detail. There is so much knowledge in these books!
