This is a great product for the Alzheimer's patient specially in their final stages since they revert back to a child's mind. My mother loves these toys so I am giving this order to her Hospice nurse to share with her other patients.

These are great fun and also help kids learn hand-eye coordination, better motor skills, and problem solving. My twins love these. First when they were little they just stacked them or used them for teething (so yes they are durable). Now they are both two-years-old and both are figuring out not just how to use the nuts and bolts but have been trying to match up the colors/shapes.
When I was a preschool teacher we had a similar set of these in most of our classrooms and they were always a favorite of the kids.

I ordered this not expecting much other than a toy for my son that the baby wouldn't choke on. It has been pleasantly surprising how much we have enjoyed it other than free play we can sort by color and shape for added educational value. We have also done simple addition and subtraction, as well as grouping. My son would just tell you the toy is awesome!

I chose these because there were hard plastic, some of the others on amazon are wood but the wood needed sanding. My daughter loves these, they keep her busy and entertained. I like that they came in their own container so they can be kept together in the toy box.
