After I received this telescope I used Brasso to clean it up. Looks unbelievable. Other students at my Sailboat class could not believe how much I paid for it. Looks much more expense.

I purchased this telescope for my girlfriend, who is into pirate memorabilia. I assumed for the price that it would just be a display piece, but it functions far better than expected. This product needs a sixth star.

For the price, I couldn't pass up this spyglass as a gift for my young nephew. He's in his pirate fanatic stage and cheap props just won't do for him.

I was very pleased with the look, feel and functionality of the item. My adult sister even thought perhaps it had been in our family!

One thing keeps it from being a 5-star item. While the case (which can be worn bandolier style) is great for a kid on the hunt, the one I received smelled badly. Imagine a wet dog laying on leather for some time. My sister was going to soak it, but I've not heard back as to whether it worked. That aside, for the price, this is a terrific deal.
