I love this money jar. I bought it for my daughter who is 4 and learning about money. It has a very easy to read screen, she has no problems pushing the money in and its see through so she can watch her money fill up in the jar. And its pink, perfect for a girl!! It seems pretty durable, its been rolled around the house by the younger siblings a few times and has not broken, its also really easy to reset if needed. This is actually the second one we have bought, we also bought a green one for our son and our daughter wanted one just like his so thats why we bought this one. Its just a great product and we will end up buying 2 more for our other children once they are at the age to learn about money.

The jar and lid itself is great. It's very simple yet attractive. That's about where the good qualities end I'm afraid. It didn't matter how light or forceful you inserted a coin, it would register 10 cents when entering pennies half the time. Or if you put in a nickel, it would say you inserted 2 of them. It didn't matter what we did or didn't do, it just kept registering wrong. After resetting it 3 or 4 times and it still not working right, I've decided we will just return it and not drive ourselves crazy anymore with it. It's just not worth the frustration, especially for a young child.

I purchased this coin counter but when I received it I was very disappointed on the website it had one size 5 x5 x9 what I received was 5 x5 x5 it reminded me of a peanut butter jar buyer beware
