I read all the reviews and didn't quite believe them, plus my husband wanted an elevator so we chose level 3 for our 7 year old. It is very cool, but the two of them will be working on it all year.

Having been a fan of the original Spacewarp at a much younger age, I bought one of these for my desk at work. Dedicating only about 15 minutes a day to work on it I was able to get it built in a couple weeks.

Since it's been built I only run it every couple days or so to make sure it's not sagging too much. I could have been more careful when building it to prevent the various stresses that cause it to misalign, but only after four or five weeks did it degrade to the point where balls were coming off the tracks anywhere and after an easy adjustment it hasn't acted up since.

I have several disassembled other sets in boxes at home that I plan to begin incorporating into this one which is entirely doable thanks to there being two open sides on the elevator.

My only gripe is that the elevator is a little loud for an open office environment.
