6 of 7 eggs have hatched over the last two days. Super easy!!!! Another 7 started! I will upgrade to the larger model in a years time when this flock is producing enough eggs to do so. The $50 styrofoam thing is a piece of junk, this is the ticket!

I incubate parrot and parakeet eggs this incubator is the best I have used so far ( and I have owned a grumbach!)I cannot say anything about the auto turn as I prefer to turn the eggs manually due to the small size of most of my eggs.
I use this model as an incubator, hatcher and brooder for the first week of two and have raised cockatiels, parakeets and bourkes from day one in it. You can turn down the temperature and this machine is exact to the degree, egg checks are no problem as it manages to get the temperature back up within a minute or two, humidity is great with the reservoir... And it even makes a good brooder for really tiny species. It saved many abandoned or cracked eggs/chicks for me ...

I used this incubator to hatch serama chicken eggs I got off eBay. I received 8 eggs of which 6 were fertile and 5 hatched. The incubator never missed a beat and the chicks that hatched were healthy and perfect. Seramas eggs are supposedly delicate and can be difficult to hatch in an incubator but I never had any problems with the ones that went to term. Two eggs pipped on day 18 and hatched on day 19 and the other three pipped on day 19 and hatched on day 20. All I did was add water to one half of the water reservoir during incubation then to both halves of the reservoir when the eggs were within 2 days of hatching and the incubator and chicks did the rest. I'm looking forward to hatching more eggs. For the price this is really an amazing incubator that's packed full of features.

I love this incubator. It helps me limit how many eggs I hatch :) Every egg that I have put in has hatched! Love this thing, I know and trust that I can set it and forget it! It almost surprises me when i see a little chick in there waiting for me, becuase I always just forget I even set it up.
