When I first received these in the mail, I thought, "What on earth?!". They are simply cardboard pieces; however, I have a 3-month-old and nothing keeps him busy. I attached these to his gym and they keep him busier than the toys! The results were a little unexpected.

The only problem that I have is that they are made of cardboard...and everything goes in his mouth. So I am a little worried that in the future they'll start falling apart.

I was amazed that my newborn started tracking the black, white and red patterns at just days old. He loves to look at them when he is calm and awake.

The rattles are louder than some other wrist toys, so they get his attention quickly. If he is fussy, they do tend to add to his stress, but when he is ready to play, he seems to really enjoy them.

I bought these for our first grandchild and she loved them. It's amazing how attentive infants are and if you give them the right toys in the beginning, their learning experience increases tenfold. No matter how young they are, they're just like little sponges waiting to learn and with these toys and the stimulation that they provide they can start early on.
