I love these blocks because they are a lot bigger than most wooden blocks these days. Like others, they do not fit in my 1 year old's mouth. My 4 year old likes to spell words out with them. The blocks are not the typical primary colors, they are more pastel. I really like the looks of them! Overall, they are great blocks!! We love them!

my kids range 21 mo to 10 yrs and they all play with these blocks from learning the abc's to spelling words and counting even learning animals on the sides of the blocks the size is great cause you see them before you step on them although my ten yr old was showing the baby the garanimals characters they were missing one the little lion/tiger but other wise great toy love it little pricy but im sure you can find them a bargin considering how much kids learn from them!!!

Nice wooden blocks ... more on the pastel side which is good! Took a little longer than expected, but that's why I order earlier.
