Before I gave the game to my son who is in first grade, I checked it out myself. In an entertaining way he gets to do the math he is learning at school. So yes, thru playing this game, his math skills are reinforced. For the occasional time he is not running around, and indeed wants to play with his leapster, this game gets my full approval.Best Deals for LeapFrog Leapster Learning Game: Scholastic Outwit
This is one of our 5 year old son's favorite Leapster games. He has Autism and is high-functioning...great for teaching him part-to-whole concepts, sequencing, matching, categories, comparisons, logic and problem solving skills. Would be great for any 4-7 year old, though.Honest reviews on LeapFrog Leapster Learning Game: Scholastic Outwit
My 5years old son usually get bored easily, but somehow this game makes him sit still :) he learns many things, from math, shapes, colors etc :)I even tried it myself. I found out that the game is interesting and easy to understand even for kids that couldn't read yet.
