It's definitely smaller than I thought it would be and more like a journal than a notebook, but that's my fault for not reading the product description thoroughly, I suppose. I thought it would be something I could use for schoolwork, but after getting it I realized that I'd more likely use it as a journal once my current one is full, or to write poetry in it or something.
The front and back covers are bigger than the paper itself, which seems like decent enough paper, all things considered. On the back cover, there's a picture of InuYasha's older half-brother Sesshoumaru, and on the pages themselves there are pictures of Kirara and Shippou, one on every other page, with Kirara being on the left-side pages and Shippou on the right-side pages.
I didn't think there was much paper here for what I paid for it, though, and after a quick count it comes to fifty pages, so instead of a journal it could maybe be something I could use to jot down ideas or notes for stories or whathaveyou. If I carried a purse, this is the sort of thing I'd keep in it for writing down ideas or observations whilst out and about, along with a really nice pen. I took some pictures, and even though they're not that good I thought I'd post them anyway just to give you guys a better look at it before deciding whether you want to spend the money or not.
If this was just a regular notebook, I probably wouldn't have spent the twelve dollars on it, but since it has InuYasha characters on it, I figured it was worth it, just because I'm a huge fan of the series. If you're not as crazy into InuYasha as I am, though, I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a notebook for this money, you could get a few regular notebooks at any drug or office supply store otherwise, you know, go for it.
