This globe is a nice addition to my home. After touring the Price Tower in Bartlesville OK, I was excited to get this replica in my house. After receiving it, I was surprised to note that it is not a replica of the great globe in Mr. Prices office at all. It is a globe designed "in the style" of the Price Tower. Still 4 stars, but they need to point this out in the product description. I can still talk about the real thing and the great story behind it. It was one of the big design issues between Mr. Price and Frank Lloyd Wright. There literally is nothing round in the whole building so Wright thought a round globe would be out of place. At Mr. Prices insistence, Wright complied. He did get the last laugh though. He designed a globe of such dimension that it was pre-installed in the office before the windows were installed. He made it too big to be removed from the room. The beloved globe remains there (somewhat damaged) today.
