If you used old wrapups, you will be a bit disappointed in these. They are all hooked together and there is one string. As a result, only one person can use them at a time...which may not be an issue for many people. Other than that, they are a great training for kids and and a nice mental exercise for adults.

These are a big hit, even with grown ups! They're kind of irresistible! Hard to put down, especially if you're trying to beat your fastest time. Timing them makes it very attractive to boys, I feel.

Best alternative to flash cards ever! Hooks kids! I use these at my middle school and at home with my beautiful 7th grader who "hates" math, but can't seem to put these down.

I'm starting a collection of these for my nieces and nephews. All of them (not individually as I have a lot) will be getting them. I tried the Fraction set I just bought. This is going to be great for their 'we' need something to do seatwork in class, as most of them homeschool!

There is that one quibble which another reviewer wrote about, and it is that only one person can use them at a time! The only pro is that they can't go disappearing as easy. However, they could just have a snap hook of some kind to (like a rubber one) which pulls out easily (by an adult).

These are great, but the string may not be easy to clean off. That's my only other problem if you are using them in a large classroom. But for the individual it should be great.

Try em', they'll love them.

I have 2 girls ages 7 & 9. We bought the addition wrap up years ago (when my oldest was in K or 1st grade) and they both enjoyed it...the younger one still does. Somewhere along the line we bought the subtraction wrap up and it gets used just as much as the addition. My oldest just finished 3rd grade and while she's pretty good in her math facts she needs to review more and become stronger in them, so this week I ordered multiplication, division and fractions. They arrived today. I'm sure my girls will enjoy these as well.

The fraction keys are great for beginning fractions. Some keys have diagrams of shaded areas and you have to figure out if its 2/3, 1/6, etc. Other keys are matching 2/3rds to 4/6ths. Another decreases and you need to match 2/12ths to 1/6th. There are keys for adding and subtracting fractions ( 1/3 +1/3= 2/3rds and 3/6 + 2/6= 5/6) subtracting 3/3 1/3= 2/3, etc. The last key is matching fractions to their decimal equivalent 3/8ths = .375 See the pictures I added.

Seems there's a few I need to brush up on too ;-)
