My son loves this toy clarinet and plays it like a pro please see video. The keys break now and then but we fix them easily with a rubber band. My 4 year old son absolutely adores this toy. Overall, the sound is terrific, and it is in many ways like a real instrument void of prerecorded noises that make a parent's head spin! This is the "real deal" and for a reasonable price. Please enjoy the video.

My granddaughter just loves this item. It arrived on time for Christmas and in excellent shape. At 4 years old, this is very good at teaching not only music, but the developing dexterity and rational thinking.Honest reviews on Bontempi Educational Products - 8 Key Clarinet -
I have two children (2 and 4) that absolutely love all the instruments made by Bontempi. Even though they don't fully understand reading music they enjoy exploring the different sound combinations they can make. Durability is a bit of an issue, as some of the smaller detail parts can break off if handled roughly, but the enjoyment that they get out of the toys is worth the risk.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Bontempi Educational Products - 8 Key Clarinet -
My son (at age 2) decided he was obsessed with marching bands and orchestras so we wanted to get him some realistic instruments that he'd be allowed (and able) to play. This was a BIG hit! He marches around the house blowing on this and pushing the keys to create different sounds. He loves the shiny look of it and I like how it is truly an instrument (not just a piece of plastic junk that makes noise!)The only complaint I'd have is that the keys can pop off at times when my son is rough on it, but we have not had any problem popping them right back into place.
If you have a little music lover, I think this is a great place to start.
