The slides are clear well finished and free of defects in the glass. The frosted area is only on one side so they easier to clean they could be just a hair thicker but still good.The cover slips are very thin and not cleaned but they aren't described as cleaned.

Haven't made many slides yet so 100 is definitely an overkill for us but it wasn't too much expense and if you are serious hobbyist with and good microscope...this is a good investment

These slides are good for the price. I only had a few that was not completely clear but no big deal I just cleaned them and so far it has all come off. I also love the frosted ends it makes it so much easier to grip especially when the slides might get to much water on them. I would recommend these slides.

We used these with the OMAX microscope. They were very clean out of the box and work great. Would highly recommend to all those young scientists out there.
