I had purchased both of the "people" that go with the Sprig Rigg truck for my grandson's b-day. He plays with them daily & they have become one of his favorite toys of all time. I just wish that the people did not pop out of there place they have in the truck everytime it hits a bump, I think they could have designed that aspect a little better. It was a very big hit at his party!!

I wish I'd seen something that specifically said "does not fit in other sprig vehicles except adventure rig." We only have the sprig dump truck and sea plane and front loader and wanted some people to drive them. Violet's general appearance and feet configuration made me think she would fit the other vehicles. (The sea plane does come with a single person, but the trucks do not.) Violet has a plug in between her feet that makes her not securely fit the seats of the other vehicles. She is also too tall with her hat to close the truck cabs. I wish sprig sold individual people that actually fit the other trucks or included people with the trucks like they do with the sea plane.

We have three of these Sprig adventure guides, and Violet is pretty awesome. WIth her stylish purple pants and matching helmet, she's ready for a grand adventure. Since her helmet lights up, Vi is ready to to spelunking into the depths of toilets and under sofas... but she is one tough gal. She comes back and screams for more!

I got this to go with the Baja dune buggy. My boys, 3 and 4 1/2, aren't really into it. They like their other similarly-sized vehicles better for some unknown reason. When you push down several times on the dune buggy, Violet Rio lights up, and the more you do it, the longer the light lasts. Cool, right? Not so much, I guess. Violet Rio didn't smell like wood when we got it. After being tossed around in the toy box, VR is starting to separate at the seam. The boys like the Imaginext vehicles and action figures much better, and I can kinda see why. I mean, VR has no eyes. It doesn't matter how "green" something is, or how good it makes mom feel, it's what the kids get out of it. And it's hard to feel anything about something that doesn't have eyes. Well, I'll put it on craigslist and let some other well-meaning mom experience the disappointment.
