This is a great buy for children at least 4 yrs old. I bought this same set for my son when he was younger and he loved it. I still have the original set and when my grandchildren come over they always want to play with it, so I decided to get 3 sets for them to play with at home. It is an excellent gift for them to learn how to be creative and not to mention it is really easy to clean up since all of the parts are magnetic!
