He chews on them a lot though which makes me feel uncomfortable since they have magnets on the other side and i dont know the material.
So far though it's been durable no chipping or he hasn't been able to chew off anything yet. It's been a few months and he chews on them quite often.
My 2.5 year old loves to name the pieces so it definitely has educational values.

I was searching around for magnets to put on my fridge for my 18 month old to play with. My choices seemed to be slim, consisting of letters and numbers and not many object magnets. When I found these, I had a $5 off special offer from my Kindle and decided to give them a shot. My son LOVES these! They are very durable, thick, rinse off easily, and seem like they will last a long time. Right now, our "games" consist of naming the objects. I either ask him "Where is" and he points to it, or I put them back into the jar and as I hand them to him, he names the object and puts it up on the fridge. In the future, I can see other games like grouping together (animals, nature/outside, fruit, colors, etc) and letters (there is at least one piece per letter, "What starts with the letter A"). I really like these magnets and wish there were more sets similar to this by the same company, because I would definitely buy them!Best Deals for Foam Magnets - Objects
I love these magnets and so does my 1yo. I was so tired of the usual letters, numbers, and animals. Every other magnet set is just the same old collection of letters, numbers, and animals. BORING! These magnets are NOT boring even though they do incorporate the concept of the alphabet into the objects. You get a picture of a queen and quilt, for example, obviously to help teach "Q" if you are so inclined, but to me it just helps to mix things up a bit and make the magnet board a little more interesting. Durable (my 1 yo chews on them and you can't even tell).Honest reviews on Foam Magnets - Objects
I bought these magnets to occupy my 15 month old daughter in the kitchen while I cooked dinner...and they sure do the trick. She loves putting them on the fridge and then taking them off and putting them back in the container. I look over and tell her what she is putting up to try and teach her the words for the items. Durable foam magnets. A couple have made it into her mouth but it doesn't look like it. Great product!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Foam Magnets - Objects
Half of the magnets were not magnetic. This was such a disappointment, they would slide along the fridge and fall on the floor.I returned it and got a new batch and tested every single one of them and they are all fine. I wanted to purchase the letters as well but I am hesitant now, I don't want to have to go through many batches to find a working product.
They are nice and very attractive to my 18 months old, they are made of foam and I saw her starting chewing at them so I don't how durable they will be.
