I can't recommend the MaKey MaKey enough. It is a brilliant, open ended, tool kit which allows endless ways to connect your computer to your environment. It continually inspires you to imagine -> build -> rebuld -> and imagine again. Awesome for kids of all ages, but this would have changed my life when I was 13. Perfect for any young person that has a creative spark that needs to be stoked.

My son has really enjoyed this but commented that it is difficult to get a circuit going with the alligator clips.

At my University I gave this to students. They had so much fun that, well, I'm not getting it back anytime soon. The beauty of this is it's not some prepackaged toy that limits imagination, it opens the imagination. There is more fun and learning in this tiny rectangle than a week ay Disney World.

If you can create a circuit you can make fun with this invention set. There are no frills so use your inventive skills to see what you can plug into. The video will get you in the spirit to invent... I'm curious to see what hasn't been done.
