This is my first gel Leappad gel skin. For my daughter's Leappad 2 we used the eForcity leather case. I agree with initial reviewer that it does not fit snug. Feels as if it shifts while in your hand. The shape, while not blocking any knobs, was a little off center which is unacceptable since Leapfrog is making it, not a generic manufacturer. I thought it would be a little thicker and more solid like the S cases for the Samsung phones. (No, I wasn't expecting an Otterbox)

My daughter does not usually drop toys, but I'm having a mini heart attack every time she moves with Leappad Ultra protected by just this skin. I'm looking for a case similar to the eForcity or there is an option for a gel skin with thicker edges to give some shock proof... for my nerves sake.

Meanwhile, the ultimate user has commented more than once in the two days that she has been using it that she liikes how it feels in her hand. Doesn't get sweaty. Hasn't slid off.

So from 3 stars the latter consideration moves it up to 4. BUT IT WILL BE REPLACED SHORTLY.

It does its job protecting the Leappad Ultra and looking good. Easy snap on, fits snugly and will not slip or slide off from kids.

Unlike the gel skin for the LeapPad 2, this gel skin does not fit securely on the LeapPad Ultra. It can easily be removed, and if you're not careful can slip off if you're handing it around the sides. This is a big disappointment. The gel skin for the LeapPad 2 fit super secure, even I had to work to remove it. Still, I guess if the LeapPad Ultra falls the gel skin won't fall off, but little hands can easily remove it. It's not a tight enough fit. Overall this an okay gel skin, great for older kids, but for the little guys and gals, it's easy to remove.
