-4 fishing poles are solid and do not wind, so they do not break easily or tangle
there are plenty of fish, making it easier for my toddler to "catch" one
all pieces are waterproof and dry easily
We have played with this set outside in a large bucket and in the bathtub. Very happy with this product.

This is the cutest little fishing set out there. The fact that it comes with 4 fishing poles makes having to share obsolete. These toys have extremely strong magnets at the end of the fishing pole nylon line and the fish mouths which will make catching a fish pretty easy with good hand eye coordination practice. Only negative I have is I was hoping the reel would move the pole in and out but it doesn't. If you want to shorten the pole you can simply push it in. The product seems very durable and I look forward to watching my boys catch a big one. This will be a Christmas present for my 1 and 3 year old sons to be used in the bath tub and during the summer time in their outdoor pool. I think they are going to love it. My three year old like Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and saw me purchasing this item online and said he wanted to go fishing for gooey fish (for those of you out there who know what I'm talking about, I think your kids will enjoy this toy too.)Best Deals for Magnetic Fishing Playset
I bought this for my daughter who is almost 3. Some friends of ours have it, and when we were over there for a play date over the summer she just loved it. We haven't even put it into the bathtub yet, and she has already played with it several times. I bought it as a Daddy/Daughter gift, since my husband loves to fish and is looking forward to taking our little one fishing for the first time this summer. The toy itself is very sturdy, and the magnets on the ends of both the fish and the fishing poles are pretty strong, so when kids actually "hook" a fish, they can lift up the pole and show off their catch. We haven't put it in the water yet, but I've seen our friend's set in the water, and the fish are weighted to point upwards to make it easier to connect them to the poles.
The only issue we've had is that my daughter likes to swing the fishing poles around (whether there's a fish on there or not) but that's not the toy's fault. I'm looking forward to trying this out in the bathtub, and in the wading pool this summer.
UPDATE: This toy is fun in the tub, if you don't use something like Mr. Bubble. Otherwise the bubbles cover up the fish, which makes them harder to find. And the magnets on the end of the fishing poles will stick to a cast iron tub.
