This was purchased for a young teen's science project on the element Bismuth. There are only so many things you can say about Bismuth, so this was an interesting addition. It's possible to make your own Bismuth crystal but ordering one is easier. The crystal itself has interesting geometric formations and coloration (just as pictured) but it is not as lustrous as we expected. It has a dull metal finish and will not necessarily gleam or shine as a "crystal" typically does.
