I love this book. I will have a child with speech delays in my pre-k class this year and I cant wait to teach all the kids these simple signs to encourage him to communicate. After reading through this book I am confident that I can get the kids signing.

We love this book! It is a great beginning sign language book for young children. It has several pages of card-size illustrations with words and descriptions of how to do the sign. They are easy to copy and cut out for bulletin board and/or child's personal dictionary or to create sign cards. The drawings are black and white, clear, with a diversity of children, and very appealing to a young child. The chapters are thematic with lesson ideas. My daughter loves the book. I only wish there was more! My little one is learning sign to communicate and this book has been wonderful to engage her.
