When my 3.5 year old son started wanting to have tea parties, my husband was not thrilled. "Tea parties are for girls" he said. (Don't even get me started in that!). Anyways, I wanted to find something for my son to play with. I was very excited and happy to find this set on Amazon! As soon as it arrived, I had to wash it up so we could use it. The pitcher perfectly holds a 16oz bottle of water. I usually put one of those little water flavor packets into it (usually lemonade), and we have a lemonade party. My son is happy and having fun, and my husband is thrilled it's not a tea set. The set is very well made and strong. I agree with another reviewer about the ice cube tray. It's really difficult to get the ice cubes out. We usually don't make them.

Fun lemonade set for play time! Wouldn't use for a real lemonade stand but really cute! The lid fits the pitcher really well which is what my daughter had been asking for. A pitcher with a lid! Will last forever!

This set is more durable and well made than any set I have seen anywhere for kids or adults. It's extremely sturdy, there would literally be no way anyone could break any if the pieces. My daughter loves that she can pour her own beverages and also make tiny ice cubes! The only downside is that the ice tray is so sturdy that its too hard for her to get the ice out. There's no "twisting" it. I usually run it under hot water and then pry them out with a table knife. BUT, I love this set SO much, I really hate to write anything negative at all. LOVE IT, and the price is way too cheap for the quality of the product. This set will be around for my grandchildren's grandchildren!
