This is very small, about the size of a Pringles can. And, oddly, you need to have a key to open or close it. What if you lose the key once it's buried for 20+ years? Overpriced and useless.

Best Deals for Time Capsule
Just received the Smithsonian Time Capsule, for a project for my 1st grader (memories from his friends/life in Boston, before we move out west). It's fun and official looking. I just wanted to post the actual interior dimensions. The actual space for items is 3" diameter, 7.25" long. Yes, it's small, but it should fit a small supply of photos, notes, and small toys.

Well I just came from the past and I gotta say this toy really last the test of time. 1,500,000,000 years have passed since I put my fleshlight into the time capsule, and its still soft as ever!
