My children have learned a lot fromt these sight words and we have turned it into a game. The only thing is they tear easiy off the rings, they need to be laminated if you want them to last so that is why I gave it 4 stars

My daughter is 4yrs old and uses the Sight Words In A Flash. What I like about them is they are pretty sizeable--larger & wider than a stack of playing cards, it doesn't use animations or cartoons to aid the child in recognizing the word and it's on a ring that opens & closes to mix the order, remove or add additional words. The ring also allows you to easily take the Sight Words outside the home. There are times we will ride in the car and work on the Sight Words. Since they're on the ring, when she gets out the car, she doesn't have to shuffle a pile of flashcards & try to clean it up; the ring keeps the cards in neat order.

I love this product. First, I read I Can Read Books to my child. Then I introduce the words that were presented in the book by putting them into a separate category instead of sifting through the key ring to find words that belong in the same category. The words are separated by color cards, not by how their relation. I find that she learns the words quicker this way; that is, when they are related to her books we read.

These work great for homeschool and we take them everywhere we go. The ring makes it easier for our kids to handle them and we are very satisfied.
