This item is fabulous! I gave a pair of these to my 4 yr old nephews and they couldn't get enough of them. The sounds are so realistic, I'm wondering if I could actually use the loon call to get our local loons to respond. And it's quiet enough that it won't drive you crazy if they use it indoors. Also, they came with the batteries already loaded.

My son loves the sounds, it make everybody smile when he plays it.Just pull the trigger and feel like you are in the woods.

Bought this as a gift for a male child. He loves it. The sounds are realistic. I just hope he doesn't end up attracting these animals to the yard when he plays with it outside. ;-)

We saw this in Toys R Us and made our daughter earn it. It is a blast to use in the neighborhood after dark or during the early morning or midday when people don't expect to hear the road of wild animals. So lifelike and a ton of fun!

Ordered this for my son Ralph for his seventh birthday. BIG MISTAKE! First off, it cost me emotional damage (PTSD) when I had to use my bare hands to fight it off. I can no longer buy honey that comes in the shapes of bears. I have to strategically plan my exits before I visit the mall to avoid the Build-A-Bear Workshop. I can't handle bear hugs. I've had seven nervous breakdowns and eight panic attacks at Walt Disney World alone.

Needless to say, this product is awful and should NOT be used by even the most causal bear-caller.
