Cute car and fun for the kids to experience the possibilities of solar energy.
The car was smaller than expected.
It's just a little larger than a stick of gum.
Needs a very smooth surface to ride on and needs mid-day direct sun to work.I bought this for my 9 year old son's science fair project. It comes in very few pieces and was easily assembled. Beware that this inexpensive solar panel only works in full sun. It does not store up energy. So the minute the car encounters shade, it stops. It is not for indoor use at all. My son thinks it would run better if the wheels came with rubber for grip. Because it needs to be light-weight, I'm not sure. But it does spin in place for a second or two until it picks up traction. I would recommend this educational car kit.
