Review of On-The-Go Book Set of 4 (123s, ABCs, Colors, Shapes)

We were having a problem with our baby tearing up the little cardboard books, so I was excited to find these at our Dollar Store. They are ticks and have a little handle that he uses to carry the book he wants to read (so cute). We got all four of them. He will sit and read them over and over for hours. After just two weeks, our baby points to the items when we ask, so the content is set up in a way that is easy for toddlers to grasp and recollect. For example, the Colors book has the name of the colors written on the top and then each object in that color. Just the object and not a character accompanying it (which I think is confusing for kids when you want them to focus on a color or what the object is and there is an character with it). The books say that they are for 3+ but out 19 month old understands and uses them just fine.
