From the first day the students wanted to hop the number line. I do have them lining up on the number line, Yes this was a good investment.

I am not sure what the manufacturing process may be, but the number line won't lay flat. I had an experienced helper, and in fact this is the sixth line I have taped down. It was a struggle to try to get it straight because the sides are different length, perhaps due to the color differences. It took a really long time, and I can only hope that the rumples aren't a tripping hazard.
