Yes, it does take some time to load the programs. Yes, it is easy for my son to turn it off or press the home button. Yes, he originally got frustrated when he turned it off. However, my son has now owned this tablet for 4 months and he LOVES it. When the programs are loading, he now says "loading" and waits patiently. He asked me for "shapes", "animals" or "peek-a-boo", one of the three games pre-loaded on the tablet. It is durable, if kept in its case. He has dropped it many times, but it still works great. He loves the camera and now knows how to turn it on and off himself. If you can get through the learning curve, this is a great electronic learning device for little ones!

My granddaughter loves this toy. It was purchased for her 2nd birthday, we wanted it for Christmas but we could not find it and was not available online. A great buy!!!

I have the first innotab and my son loves it. However I was thinking about getting the innotab 2 baby for my 2 year old. This product is in Walmart for only 89.99. Why would this basically almost be doubled on amazon.
