It is solidly built, if a little smaller than I expected. The flag motif is nicely done looks like it won't be chipped or scraped off. I bought it because I have children who visit me pretty regularly, and I thought they would enjoy fiddling with it. The problem is, the middle key hits a horrible sour note. I messed with it, it slides a bit forward and backwards? Which might be problem, I don't know) but sour it stays. I have limited mobility, so I am not going to try to return it, but if you really want to try and play music on it, might want to choose a different one.
