This was a Christmas gift for my daughter that I decided to give her at the last minute. The product was shipped immediately (with free shipping, I might add!) and I received it in plenty of time to give for Christmas. I purchased this as a gift, and it came in a beautiful red leather (possibly faux) case. Once i took a peek at the actual item, it was very beautiful. Good craftsmanship and very satisfying to the eye. Summary: There are items you buy that may not feel like they live up to their price tags, but this is not one of them.
