My son received this as a gift last Christmas when he was only 4 months old. The piano has two modes: one plays a medley of children's tunes automatically (via larger buttons on the face), the other is a manual piano where the child creates his/her own tunes. The first mode kept my son entranced -and continues to -throughout his infancy. It's also perfect as a travel companion -he loves the lights and tunes as we drive along. Recently, he has started catching on to the more advanced mode and creating his own tunes (he's 16 months old). The keys are a perfect size for his little fingers and there are little circular grooves that make them easy to press. This is one of his all-time favorite toys -highly recommended!

I purchased this toy for my daughters birthday, and I'm happy with it. When I first got it I was suprised at how small it was (but that was my fault, should have read the dimensions), and loud. But my daugther absolutely loves this toy, and has thrown it many times and it's still working just fine.

The volume can't be controlled and this toy is very loud. It gets annoying, fast!! My 22 month old has this toy for a while and it's one of his least favorite toys.
