Product is smaller than I was expecting but my patients love it. I work with kids and they always ask what it is and enjoy using it. Its small size is good for children's small hands. They seem to enjoy the texture and its movement.

Best Deals for Tangle Relax Therapy

I bought this for my teen age daughter, who fidgets with objects. She took to this tangle toy immediately, and enjoys fidgeting with it while watching TV, etc.

This tangle is small enough to be manipulated with one hand, and has a nice variety of textures. Our only complaint is that the segments will occasionally pull appart when in use. Ours broke, but it was easy to fix by removing the segment that wouldn't stay attached anymore. The package says it is good for people who are quitting smoking. If it is an intended gift, you might want to take it out of the package to avoid that potentially negative connotation.

I would not recommend this for a small child, because the segments come appart fairly easily and could be a choking hazzard. Consider a larger model instead.

We got this after it helped calm my 4 year old down at counseling. Being a child with sensory problems and on the spectrum, finding something that will both catch his attention, keep him busy for more then 30 seconds and be used as a calming tool is very important. This did the trick. I actually find myself playing with it sometimes and taking it apart. This is a new must keep in my purse, perfect for the car sensory toy.

I purchased this to use myself for something to keep my hands busy when needed. It works well and I love the texture despite it easily picks ups dirt it can easily be cleaned. The problem is that it is not very sturdy. The soft coating has already began to peel off and once it is off it won't be usable anymore. I don't think it was worth the price. I don't recommend it for heavy use, but if you are looking for something for light use or to set on our desk and only pick up on occasion this might be okay.
